Max 1L UltraGloss Build Trays (1 Liter capacity)

Asiga has now released this new UltraGLOSS build tray for the Asiga MAX machines. Years ago Proto Products created what we called the "Fuzzy Trays" for the Pico Plus machines that greatly reduced the build lines by causing a very slight diffusion of the light that was most effective at the borders of the layer exposure. 9 years later, Asiga discovered that we might have had a good idea.

The UltraGLOSS trays were intended for the Dental industry when they are making clear aligners or other dental parts.They work just as well for jewelers or sculpture artist that want smooth surfaces and fewer visible build lines on their parts. You need to update your software and firmware to the latest and greatest edition so the RFID tag can send the correct information to your machine to adjust the exposure times to compensate for the diffusion. It might be worth a test.

These trays are not suited for microfluidics or micro pave but may work well for compound curves and organic surfaces.

The Max machines use a new load sensor technology to "know" when the parts have separated from the tray film. With that knowledge and you knowing the maximum cross section and durability of your parts, it can radically speed up your grows to half the time or even faster. Since there is no sweeping movement in or under the film tray, this new technology keeps the film tray clear of defects that could refract the light that would diminish precision applications such as microfluidics or dental drill guides. The Asiga system has become the go to machine in most industries that rely on precision with the widest variety of build materials and all the technology in combination, including the build trays prove it.
