At the final page of the transaction, do not select the "Residential" or it will add $3.00 to your total because that is what UPS adds for home delivery. We aren't shipping anything to you so leave that blank. THANK YOU FOR HELPING!

I was born and raised in Appalachia, in a very small town called Newport Tennessee.
This was one of the hardest hit areas outside of Florida. The mountains funneled all that water down onto the cities where they had never seen or prepared for anything of this nature. Any and all help will be welcomed and accounted for!

I can assure you that this town has never experienced a Hurricane before and they had no idea what was coming. We have had storms, tornadoes, floods, etc... but never in hundreds of years has our area seen the devastation that was unleashed on this mountain community. Nobody has flood insurance in the mountains and home owners insurance typically does not cover "acts of God". FEMA has been a no show. One bright note was that Kamala is offering those affected a one time disaster relief of $750 per family. Seriously???

When it comes time to take care of people in the Southeast, Mayorkas told us they didn't have any money left for Americans. Our government has funneled funds out the disaster relief money to support the huge and ever increasing illegal alien influx and has sent billions to the Ukraine to battle Russia for not so reasons that most don't understand. We just know his family got a nice chunk of it.

There are also some dishonest folks coming in from the surrounding area to plunder whatever they can find while folks try to salvage what is left. That may not be a wise thing to do in the hills of Tennessee and North Carolina... Plunder at your own risk...

On the positive side, the Army Corp of Engineers has been on the ground and has been a huge help. People are coming from all around to help. Private helicopters are hauling out stranded people and ignoring "officials". The folks in the South are pretty resilient and are helping each other. I guess we now have the Hillbilly Army to go along with the Cajun Navy. I'm doing all I can. Any support you feel like sending will be welcome and rest assured that 100% will go to that area for relief efforts. I'll be posting receipts and updates for what we are doing.
